More finished projects

I forgot that I made a black, white and red quilt for my grandma. So that makes 22. And I just finished a triple chain quilt for my cousin's wedding. Hmmm....Not many other finishes, but hopefully this weekend. I am almost finished with a quilt that is the first pattern I designed!

Finished Projects

So I only finished 2 out of the 3 projects that I wanted to finish in January, but I am very close on several more, so I am hoping for 4 finished projects in February. And I decided that I want to see how many finished quilts I have total. So...here goes.

1. Peter's extra long quilt
2. Blue and Yellow first strip club quilt
3. Diane Nicholas' quilt
4. Cherry Quilt
5. Aunt Sarah's Wedding quilt
6. Mom's Valentine quilt
7. 2 baby quilts for Karen
8. Baby quilt for Angie
9. Baby quilt for Dr. Mehta
10. Stepping Stones strip club quilt
11. Rose Quilt
12. The one that looks like presents out of Lila Tueller fabric
13. Baby quilt for Danielle
14. Three sisters Christmasy fabric strip club quilt
15. Cute stars strip club from Georgia
16. Simple Abundance Strip Club
17. Quilt I taught how to make at Codi's shop
18. April Cornell Strip club for Katy
19. Diamond nightmare strip club quilt
20. Joy's baby quilt that still doesn't have binding
21. Practice long arm quilting small quilt

That's all I can really remember right now. Numbers 19 and 16 were my finishes for January. I feel pretty good about this list, since I started quilting almost three years ago and got my master's degree in that time. I bet that number will grow a lot this year with project finish mode! I will post pictures of as many of these finished projects as possible. But...that might take awhile. And I would rather just sew.

Project Finish Mode

As much as I love new fabric and new projects and new patterns.....I decided that the only way to actually make room for new things is to go into project finish mode. So, this year, I am going to finish three projects a month until they are all done. It might take the entire year (yes, I really do have that many unfinished projects!) I am going to post pictures of each project during the finishing process and at the end. I sort of don't want to count the total number of unfinished projects, so I'm just going to wait until the end for a final total. So...if anyone actually reads my blog and wants a quilt, now would be the time to stake your claim. It seems as though there will be many that a need a new home in the near future.
